We are licensed as a Group Day Care with capacity for 40 children and a ratio of 1 teacher to 6.7 children from 2 1/2 to school age. We offer preschool classes within a day care setting. We provide daily care and education services from 7:30am to 5:30pm from Monday to Friday. Founded in 1988, and run by a team of seasoned early childhood educators and Montessorians, our center maintains a reputation of excellence.
We provide a safe, nurturing environment that promotes physical, social, emotional, cognitive and creative development for the very young ones. We believe that each child is unique and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. We promote cultural awareness and respect for those who may be seen as different.
We welcome all students regardless of race, national heritage, background or religion, and we actively encourage tolerance and multiculturalism.
At our care and education center, we take pride in offering a clean, home-like atmosphere with an open-door policy to encourage communication with all of our parents. We encourage communication between you and us; you have entrusted your child to us, and our goal is to be the best child care provider your family will ever have.
All of the teachers at Montessori Mes Petits have all the required immunizations, letter from physician saying that we are in good mental and physical health to care for children, criminal records checked, and are qualified to practice as Early Childhood Educators. Most of our teachers are also qualified to teach the Montessori method. We take pride in keeping detailed records of children’s progress, and we focus on continuing professional development. As a result, we are constantly refining our program and maintain a high standard of curriculum delivery.
Mespetits.ca is the online home of Montessori Mes Petits, Care & Education. The classes, full of natural light, overlooks the beautiful St. Andrew's park located in the city of North Vancouver.
The foundation of our teaching program stands on the Montessori philosophy of education. For more than a century, on six continents, in thousands of classrooms, the Montessori philosophy of education has been inspiring children to learn, to grow, and to thrive.

have a caring adult
in their lives. And
that's not always a biological parent or family member. It
may be a friend or neighbor. Often
times it is a teacher".
